Farewell 2010

New years eve is the day we wave goodbye to 2010,


















And welcome 2011!!!!
















For me this year had gone super fast, it's been full of hard work, stress, and frowns, but also lots of smiles and laughter and fun!!!!
A new year means new goals and a new start! It's time to start thinking of some new years resolutions!!!
2010 has been a big year, and it's almost over, so farewell 2010 with a smile!!!

Laughing without smiling

Hey everyone,

About a year ago I watched a youtube video called I bet you can't Laugh without smiling, It's not that funny, it's not one of the best from youtube, it does seem ridiculous and stupid, but, after you watch it, even if you feel like an idiot have a try at laughing without smiling.
It is insanely hard, at least without sounding like a drowning walrus of course ;D

I challenged some of my friends to laugh without smiling, they looked at me like I was mad, but tried anyway, we had a lot of fun :)

It really does show you that everything it easier if you smile!!!

So keep smiling and make the most of everything you do :D

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas :D Mine was great :)

But one thing I found about Christmas is how many awkward hug/kiss/hand shakes there are, I saw so many relatives that I only see about twice a year. When you first see them you say Merry Christmas and then you may lean in for a hug and they stick out their hand, or they try and kiss you and you just try to hug back. I've always wondered if there is a way of knowing what to do as a greeting... But I suppose we will never know.. Hahahaha

Be happy..

Just as a reminder, I thought I would remind you that Christmas is the happiest time of the year :) Sure Christmas is stressful, buying presents, wrapping presents, sending Christmas cards, the shops are busy, your a bit tight on cash and you still have to decorate the house etc.

But just remember to think; Christmas is the happiest time of the year and in a few days, all your hard work will be worth it, Christmas is about giving, everyone will be happy and joyful :D So just remember over these holidays, for just a moment, when your stressing and worrying, pause and smile, because there is lots to be happy about :D

Caroling :D

Something I have never done before, and don't plan on doing again, is caroling. I don't really think caroling is a big thing here in Australia, but it was something to do, and a way to spread Christmas cheer :D

Instead of walking around the neighbourhood singing to random people we decided to sing out the front of my house.

At first no one walked by and so we just waved to passing cars with our Santa hats on our heads. We thought we were doing a nice thing but the people driving didn't see it that way, they would swerve their cars to keep away from us or give us frowns and shake their heads.


After a while of spreading Christmas cheer to drivers, eventually a couple walking their dog came down our street. We ran to the porch and sang the 12 days of Christmas in our best voices (which are not that good :/ Ha) and the couple clapped when we were done and walked on. I felt proud since that was the first time I had ever recieved positive feed back for my singing.

Another couple walked by, we had not planned on having to sing two songsand so we decided on Jingle bells. The young couple exchanged confused looks and continued walking. After that we didn't get many people walking by and so we got bored and went inside.

Our caroling wasn't sucsessfull, it wasn't traditonal, it wasn't very good, but it was fun and a great way to spread the festive spirit :D I don't know if i'll ever do it again but I reccomend you all to try it, hahah :D

Firstly, I highly doubt any one will read this but I have to start with something, don't I?
